Fernanda holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brazil and is a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association. Fernanda’s passion has driven her career focusing on Psychoanalysis working with individuals, adolescents, family, children, and in private sectors such as learning and development.

Fernanda’s caring and empathic approach has led her to work collaboratively with her clients. She is a thoughtful and compassionate counsellor working with clients suffering from a broad spectrum of mental health issues. Her special interests are self-esteem, women’s health, parenting, domestic violence, depression, sexuality, and issues which recent immigrants to Australia might face.

What is Psychoanalysis? Psychoanalysis is defined as a set of psychological theories and therapeutic methods that have their origin in the work and theories of Sigmund Freud. The aim of psychoanalysis therapy is to release repressed emotions and experiences so the client can be helped.
