She assists them in developing healthier coping mechanisms as well as helping them to make decisions and solve problems while encouraging them to discuss their broad scope of emotions and experiences.

She is an extremely enthusiastic professional, and believes that this trait, combined with her vast experience, allows her to work with clients in a way that helps them gain deeper insight into the underlying layers of their ‘Selves’ and, ultimately, find ways to achieve positive, long-lasting emotional change.

Carolina’s psychological approach integrates psychoanalysis with other evidence-based psychological approaches. She offers sessions in English and Portuguese, for adults and adolescents, covering a vast spectrum of psychological conditions such as anxiety, depression, and trauma spanning immigration, relationship, and parenting-related difficulties.
