Carolina is a Psychologist with a bachelor degree in Psychology and a post-gradation degree in Hospital Psychology. Her number one passion is to help individuals live their best lives through the development of stronger internal resources.

With over nearly ten years of experience in the academic and professional spheres of Psychology, Carolina has developed an array of interpersonal abilities coupled with an unwavering work ethic.

Through her Psychology experience in Hospital environments, Carolina helped clients facing an array of different types of trauma, which gave her the invaluable ability to connect with individuals and establish trusting relationships that ultimately allow for appropriate and successful guidance through their recovery process.

 

Nowadays, Carolina has been working with immigrants to help them overcome the challenges and emotional difficulties that stem from such a significant cultural change. She assists them in developing healthier coping mechanisms as well as helping them to make decisions and solve problems while encouraging them to discuss their broad scope of emotions and experiences.

She is an extremely enthusiastic professional, and believes that this trait, combined with her vast experience, allows her to work with clients in a way that helps them gain deeper insight into the underlying layers of their ‘Selves’ and, ultimately, find ways to achieve positive, long-lasting emotional change.

Carolina’s psychological approach integrates psychoanalysis with other evidence-based psychological approaches. She offers sessions in English and Portuguese, for adults and adolescents, covering a vast spectrum of psychological conditions such as anxiety, depression, and trauma spanning immigration, relationship, and parenting-related difficulties.
