Ilana holds an Honours Degree in Clinical Psychoanalysis from overseas and is a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association.

Ilana is an experienced psychoanalyst, having worked in private practice seeing adults, couples and children, with a special interest in anxiety, depression and self-esteem issues. Ilana also has a particular interest in working with infertility issues, as well as recent immigrants to Australia and the issues they face settling in the country and culture. Ilana worked as a psychoanalyst on some governmental social projects in needy communities in Brazil.
