Leanne is a warm, supportive, and compassionate psychologist who specialises in women’s and girls’ (15+) mental health. With her evidence-based approach and deep understanding of women’s unique challenges, she provides both therapeutic support and comprehensive assessments in a safe, accepting environment.

Leanne brings a client-centred perspective to her work, recognising that each person’s experience is unique. She collaborates closely with her clients to develop personalised strategies that align with their values, resources, and life circumstances. Her gentle and friendly demeanour creates a comfortable space where clients feel understood and supported in discussing their challenges and discovering their strengths.
Leanne is a neurodiversity affirming practitioner who works in a CBT framework and has received additional training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Dialectical Behaviour therapy (DBT), Schema therapy and the highly nuanced assessment of neurodiversity (ADHD and Autism) in women and girls.
Leanne regularly seeks out opportunities to learn and teach and has been asked to speak at a conference of her peers at the Australian Psychological Society’s annual conference on “Perimenopause and Women’s Wellbeing” in 2025.
She has also been a delegate at the Asia Pacific Women’s Mental Health Conference (2023, 2024) and the International Menopause Association Congress (2024).
As a published researcher and advocate for women’s mental health, Leanne is particularly passionate about advancing understanding of mental health during hormonal transitions, neurodiversity, and the unique presentation of ADHD and autism in women and girls. Her research contributes to better recognition and support for women’s mental health needs across the lifespan.
