Location: Mona Vale Telehealth - Video Consultation

Leroy is a registered psychotherapist, informed by seven years of experience working with youth and young adults in the mental health and wellbeing sector. He works with adults, adolescents, and children.

Consistent with evidence-based practice, Leroy emphasises co-creating a warm, authentic, and psychologically safe therapeutic relationship as a foundation for positive change.

He offers an integrative humanistic and experiential psychotherapy, which is present-centred, relational, trauma-informed, and evidence-based.

Leroy’s training draws on person-centred, gestalt, emotion-focused, existential, mindfulness-based, sensorimotor, play, and internal family systems therapy.

Leroy has significant experience working with youth and young adults, having co-founded the suicide prevention peer support program ‘Open Up’ in 2017 alongside northern beaches based charity One Eighty Inc.

Leroy is a certified practicing member of PACFA, and is finalising his Master’s Degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling. He also holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Philosophy and Anthropology.

For clients who request it, Leroy welcomes opportunities to share the psychological freedom afforded by mindfulness practice, having personally benefitted from close to a decade of practice experience. He teaches from direct experience in a down-to-earth, practical way, and has experience teaching youth and adults through 8-week courses, and 1:1 mentoring.
