Angelica is a Clinical Psychologist with substantial experience in couples therapy and trauma treatment. As an integral psychotherapist Angelica is inspired by the revolutionary science of alternative medicine. Her approach aims to bring together all systems within a person, drawing from Psychodynamic, Schema, Gestalt, Cognitive-Behavioural, Emotionally-focused and Transactional Analysis approaches.

As a certified couples therapist from the leading experts in relationship, intimacy and adult attachment training, Angelica brings a sound perspective to relationship counselling. She has helped hundreds of couples overcome emotional distance, intimacy issues, affairs, conflict, and issues in cross-cultural marriages. When it comes to sexuality, Angelica follows an empowering model based on female-male sexual equity and healthy sexuality in which both partners value intimacy as shared pleasure and desire as a result of physical and emotional connection.

When dealing with issues surrounding trauma, Angelica combines trauma-focused intervention and a caring, emphatic approach to assist individuals to rebuild a sense of control and empowerment in their lives. Angelica believes that a relational approach is the essence for healing.

With over 15 years experience, Angelica has worked in the public sector and as an academic in tertiary education. Currently, Angelica shares her time between her clients, facilitating workshops, and supervising psychologists in training doing internships at her clinic.

As a wife and mother of two children, Angelica and her husband prioritize family, self care, and often devote their time to charity.
